General Discussion about UCSG Documentation
I have to admit I'm still working on my Exchange Documentation from November last year (it's coming along), but on a more positive note, I submitted my OUPV (i.e. six-pack) application to my Regional Center last week, they forwarded it to National, and I got an email from National yesterday saying they had put my license in the mail. I got almost daily email updates on the process, which seemed to go quite smoothly.

Slightly off topic - I see the USCG is the only branch of military service which had its budget REDUCED yesterday. Strikes me as a little odd, considering their role in Border Security. Must be some political subtlety I'm just not seeing...
The documentation center has actually done a great catch up job and their current case dates are the best I've seen. Still a couple of areas left to improve.

As to licensing, the center is just overwhelmed with the additional work brought on by December 31, 2016. They were really hit by all the captains getting STCW endorsements. So, they chose to delay on what they felt was least damaging in being late.
