For my Chesapeake Bay friends, what do you think about Bluewater Yachts and their ability to cruise the bay? The draft is shallow, but they seem a little more stout than a normal house boat. Most of them have marine small block 350s, so I'm not worried about working on them.
There's a few that are available in my area that are at a pretty good price (compared to diesel trawlers of the same year and shape)
I'm looking to do some over nights up some rivers, anchoring in coves and make trips to Baltimore and Annapolis.
